Yeah.
So it's becoming painfully quite obvious that this song list is not gonna be finished in time for my end of the month trip to the mecca of melting hot weather and indie band bombast, The Windy City, Chicago. Yes kids, I wanted to be list-free by the time I touched down at O'Hare for the weekend of the Pitchfork Festival. And let me tell you, my "Pitchfork-does-not-tell-me-what-to-do" stance I've been trying to uphold is taking a serious hit. But seriously, there are mega bands playing in Union Park that weekend (and even the preceeding Friday night). I'll make a mix for you all with a quick rundown of each song before next Thursday when I ship out, putting the 50 songs of the first 7/12 of the year list on hold until I get back. And hopefully preceeding that post, I'll give you all a peek into the transcedent Matthew Friedberger solo albums. YES. ALBUMSSSSS. PLURAL.

I've been told to go to Weiner Circle when I'm in Chicago. And I really like this pup.
In the meantime, I've been sensually grooving (perhaps a mental image best not conjured up) to the new Ratatat record Classics. And I'll drop a yousendit on a track right here...
Ratatat - Gettysburg (yousendit link)
Pretty great song about history and beats.
