okay okay, hold up a minute...
So I know that, a week or two ago, I said "I'm back, bitches!" And I am. For reals. But I've been busier than usual as of late. On top of some big changes in my personal life, I'm currently mired in moving hell and everything that goes with that (selling damn near everything I own, packing, cleaning, etc.). I'm about to take apart my computer, so I figured I'd fire off a quick dispatch before I really drop off the radar for a few days...
Last week's edition of The 40 OZ Show was a mellow, all-instrumental affair, so if you like chill beats and you want an hour of 'em all stacked up, click the boom box 40 bottle right here to download the whole show. I'll add a playlist as soon as I can; until then, just know that it's fresh, and get your free download on...

Also, be sure to tune into Western Addition Radio TONIGHT (and EVERY WEDNESDAY) from 8 to 9 p.m. for an all new edition of The 40 OZ Show. It'll be hype, I promise.
Finally today, just FYI, I'm a huge Ghostface Killah fan. He's easily the best and most consistently dope of the Wu Tang MCs, and on a rap playing field of sound-alike trend chasers and entrepreneurs masquerading as artists (and vice-versa), Ghost delivers a unique story-telling rap style over unorthodox beats constructed largely from smartly flipped samples of '60s and '70s funk, soul and R&B music. His latest record, Fishscale, has hardly left my CD player since it came out in March, and a couple of weeks ago, The Onion's A.V. Club section ran an interview with Ghostface that rules. Not so much because the interviewer did a good job (it actually felt like he was going through the motions), but because of Ghostface's answers. Check it out.

I'm in the Worse Hell, I think: the one where new carpeting is being installed and I keep having to move furniture from room to room in time to the carpet installation. Picture a hell where this is all you do. (No, check that, its too horrible) Or, a hell where you're always packing to move and moving. Echh! (as they used to say in Mad magazine.
My mind is going through so many changes
I know that I going out of my mind
Everytime you see me going somewhere
I think I must be losing my mind
