Please Help Michelle Cable and DMBQ
For those who don't already know...the incredibly great DMBQ from Japan were in a horrible accident that claimed the life of their drummer Mana Nishiura, (aka China) who was also the drummer in Shonen Knife.
Michelle Cable, their booking agent/tour manager and founder of Panache Magazine is conscious following surgery. She is scheduled for more surgery Monday. The other members of DMBQ are stable but and are expected to recover.
We mourn the loss of Mana "China" Nishiura; our hearts go out to DMBQ and their families. Michelle Cable suffered substantial head and spinal injuries and is expecting a recovery period of up to six months. Our hearts go out to all of them.
