Boring AND Sophomoric

More wonderful feedback from the adoring public regarding my most current Mesh column.

Dear Brian,

Big thumbs down on the anti-bicycle/bicyclist piece
for a number of reasons:

1 - Think of who your target audience is.
2 - The price of gas is over $3 and rising and your
gonna attack bicyclists?
3 - There is enough pissy-rant-Vice-Magazine-SF-Weekly
-cynical-journalism already....no need for you
publication to jump on the junk wagon.
4 - The bottom line - the writing was sophomoric.

Just for the record, the only person at Mesh who jumps on junk wagons is myself and thats only after a few drinks. Since Mike had the common courtesy to not adress his letter to me, I won't respond to him in real life. Dear Mike,

I don't really know what sophomoric means. I also don't really know who the target audience of Mesh is, but even if they are people who might not agree with whatever it is I say, all the more reason for me to tell them. If anything else, they can feel more solid about their chosen views and lifestyle if confronted with an opposing view. PLus bicycles are pretty much dumb. Plus "your" is spelled with an r.
