400 Blows at Bottom of the Hill
Went with Max Sidman, Pete G, and Hurricane Katrina to see 400 Blows at Bottom of the Hill the other night. 400 Blows does so much with just one guitar and drums, it is pretty incredible. Aside from a suprising amount of meatheads in the crowd, it was an all around great show. Caught Year Future, which features Sonny Kay on vocals, who is the owner of GSL Records, a label that puts out CDs and records by consistently good bands. Sonny was also the frontman for a couple of my favorite bands back in my high school days, The VSS and Angel Hair. Year Future kicked down the post-punk jams... the drummer was excellent and looked slightly possessed. Great, great show.
Here is a picture of Skot, the singer of 400 Blows. He has two heads and can shoot lightning bolts out of his eyes (hence the sunglasses).
