“It all started off when I got my first record in the summer before 4th grade… Kiss Alive II on double vinyl with the cut-out corner. It blew my mind and I just wanted to play guitar like Ace Frehley, so I used to stand in front of the mirror with my sister’s tennis racket and look at myself rock out to “Shock Me.” Music has followed me around eversince which has been a blessing and a curse, depending on how you look at it,” writes Charles Gonzalez who plays tomorrow, Friday evening, at the Make-Out Room during the happy hour show with De Vez En Quando.
